How to create advertising banners with Joomla 1.5
If you want to use your joomla website to advertise products or service using banners, than you will need to read this tutorial.
- go the the Components -> Banners
- go to the Clients tab and create a new one (giving some information about the client what you want to advertise)
- after this go to the Categories tab and create a category
- now it is time to create your first banner using the Banners tab (here you will need to choose the client and the category you already created, add link and choose a banner image from those you have uploaded to your sever via FTP)
Using the banner component you can also use custom banner codes.
