As defined by the Joomla! documentation:
The Template controls the overall look and layout of your site. It provides the framework that brings together common elements, modules and components as well as providing the cascading style sheet for your site.
Templates are managed with the Template Manager, which is located on the site menu on the Back-end of your site.

How can I save my template?
You can save your template by clicking the 'Save' button in the application. This will store your template or will ask you under which name you would like to store your template.
How long is my template stored?
Templates are stored for a certain period. This period is different for 'saved' templates and 'purchased' templates.
Saved templates are templates that are in progress. Purchased templates are templates that you have purchased and you can use on your website.
How long is my template stored after saving?
After saving your template it is stored for 6 months. These 6 months are calculated based on the time of the last save. We will remind you when your saved template is about to expire.
How long is my template stored after purchasing?
After purchasing your template it is stored for 12 months. We will remind you when your purchased template is about to expire.
Also we will email you a copy of the template just before it is about to expire. During these 12 months you can download & install the template as much as you want.
Note that the expiry time has no effect on templates installed in your local installation. This means that if you import a template in your CMS, it will always be available.
How can I get support?
Both users and non-users can get support on Template Builder.
Is manually modifying templates allowed?
Yes, however we give no guarantee the template will work after manual modification.
